Looks like our music hunts are beginning  to bear more fruit. We came across Darko Kustura by absolute chance and we’ve been jamming to him ever since. His Burbidge Chain EP is absolutely phenomenal. -Do yourself a favor and listen to “Burbidge Chain” with exceptional speakers. The bass lines in that track are subliminal to say the least, damnnn the dude just knows what he’s doing.

The Temper Traps are a hot commodity nowadays with their runaway success “Sweet Disposition”. And Michael Woods is not a dude to let a good thing pass, so in typical “Strobe” fashion, he put his stamp on “Science of Fear”. This track has a big room feel, definitely a crowd pusher. I can see this beast popping up at a few WMC parties. So, clench your fist hard and pump it two times for this bomb.

This Mix was a bit of a different Musical excursion for me… Memoirs is a big Soundscape of a Mix… An Ambient/Progressive/Nu-Age/Trip-Hop Mix inspired by the Music I used to listen to before I discovered Electronic Dance Music, whilst taking in elements of the more Progressive type of music I listen to now featuring more contemporary tracks by Max Cooper, James Holden, Nathan Fake & Ulrich Schnauss. Inspired by the likes of Pink Floyd, the Orb, FSOL, Mike Oldfield etc, I also took inspiration from the Bladerunner Soundtrack by Vangelis. Very futuristic, quite dreamy, very trippy this Mix Best listened to with the Volume up and the lights switched off… Let the journey begin…(Citizen K)
